In Ferrara, an art exhibition explores light as a tool to reveal the invisible

/15 February 2025. Antonio Barrese, a key figure in kinetic art and co-founder of the MID group in 1965, has inaugurated his solo exhibition L’Ulteriore at the Dosso Dossi High School in Ferrara. Insigna supported the event by producing 10 Morphology Images, 100 x 100 cm lightboxes. Insigna has long collaborated with the Milanese artist, whose work moves between art, science, technological innovation, and design. This series of works does not reproduce reality, nor does it interpret it; rather, it explores the potential that emerges from the deliberate manipulation of light sources and their colour spectrums. The result is a series of miniature theatres where light dances, constantly reforming and generating extraordinary reverberations with our inner world. The meticulous craftsmanship behind these lightboxes reflects Insigna’s commitment to exceptional execution, meeting the high standards of museums and private collectors alike.
